Plastic Jeezus are a Bournemouth-based three-piece, who have been bringing their unique brand of uptempo wryness to the masses for the last few years. With tunes that’ll get stuck in your head, rhythms that’ll make you want to dance and lyrics that’ll make you grin, Plastic Jeezus always go down a storm at festivals.
Their 2017 debut album ‘Choose Your Own Misadventure’ received rave reviews (‘undoubtedly the best ukulele based comedy album released this year’ (Fatea), ‘a wonderful album’ (UkePlanet), ‘incredibly infectious’ (Rock Regeneration); but it’s all about the live experience. Raucous sing-alongs, audience participation – an impromptu kazoo orchestra – anything could happen when Plastic Jeezus take to the stage.
Simon (ukulele), Dave (drums) and Aaron (bass) will brighten up any festival stage, and have played at all sorts of venues from packed-out biker bars to the Grand Northern Ukulele festival in Huddersfield.
It’s not quite rock, it’s not quite folk, it’s not quite indie – but it’s unmistakably Plastic Jeezus.
